Sleepy Owl

This owl spends most of its time in an area of 6 miles around its original location and are quite territorial. There are 8 different types of hooting in a call identified. In the wild, they can reach an average of 10-12 years of age, although a wild owl has been recorded to have lived 24 years. The plumage is identical for females and males, although the females weighs more: she has an average of 800g, while he has an average of 630g. The name comes from its bar vertical pattern on the chest. They are monogamous, pair for life.
