In Memoriam

Drawn after a picture I took of Schurli, a beautiful Aldabra giant tortoise (Aldabrachelys gigantea) that lived a long and happy life at the Schönbrunn Zoo, Vienna, Austria. Of his estimated 130 years, 68 were spent at the Vienese zoo where he was the oldest resident. I am very grateful to have seen him and this drawing now has a very special place in my heart.

This is an original drawing, a one of its kind in my portfolio. Drawn using the best materials which will give it a long lasting life.
